Natural quartz geode.
Quartz is composed of silicon and oxygen, it is the most abundant mineral in the earths crust. Geodes are formed when pockets of air get trapped within rocks and fill up with water containing different minerals. Once the water evaporates, these minerals are left behind to form these sparkling caves inside.
This specimen is approximately 3.5" wide and 3" tall, weighing 185g.
